Lisa Otty

Lisa is an AHRC Early Career Fellow at the Centre for the History of the Book, working in partnership with the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. She completed her PhD at Edinburgh University in 2009. Between 2009 and 2011, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Dundee, part of a major interdisciplinary AHRC-funded project entitled ‘Poetry Beyond Text: Vision, Text and Cognition’. In 2011, she designed and created ‘The Archive of Reading’, a follow-up project in partnership   with the Scottish Poetry Library. In the summer of 2011, she was also Research Associate on the AHRC-funded knowledge exchange project ‘Making Our Connections: Collaboration, Community and the Exhibition of the Written Word’ at Edinburgh University. Lisa has taught at the Universities of Edinburgh and Dundee, and was Co-Director of the Scottish Universities Summer School between April 2008 and April 2009.
